Emails Given by ISPAC to NMAGO Were Provided at the AG’s Request as Part of Its Investigations
Recently there has been an effort to claim that ISPAC provided “unsolicited” to the New Mexico Attorney General’s office all of the emails given to Independent Source PAC by a third party source. This is not the case. As these emails with the AG’s office show, the emails ISPAC turned over to the AG were at the request of the AG as part of its investigations into various issues, including allegations of misconduct concerning the Downs deal. While ISPAC did initially contact the AG to investigate various issues, it was the AG who subsequently requested that ISPAC turn over “all” emails obtained from its third party source.
