Pat Rogers resigned from the Modrall Law Firm today. The emails that ISPAC and others have released played a huge role in this development.
Rogers’ racist, sexist, and homophobic remarks were extremely hurtful to Native Americans, Hispanics, women, and gays.
Rogers was also caught meddling in the selection process for a president at UNM. And as covered by ISPAC, Rogers, through his emails on the Dirty Downs deal may have implicated himself along with Jay McCleskey, Darren White and members of the Martinez administration in a criminal conspiracy.
Under the ethics rules imposed by Martinez, Rogers’ role in the conspiracy to rig the deal and defraud the public, could put Modrall’s many state contracts at risk.
Rodgers’ resignation potentially protects the law firm from losing its contracts should charges arise from the Dirty Downs deal.
